Ratnasambhava,
yellow lord of the ratna, or jewel family, of the southern region of
the mandala, embraces his yum, Vajrahatvisvari, holding a flaming
jewel, symbol of his family, in his right hand, and a bell in his left.
Associated with the cosmic element of earth, he represents the
primordal wisdom of equanimity. His path transmutes the deluded
passion of pride into the recognition of emptiness which sees all
phenomena as equal.
